The fill is even throughout the comforter, no funky smell. I would consider it a mid-weight comforter and may be too warm for summer. It is hugh, and I would suggest this over-sized. Price was good for this quality of down comforter.

Very good quality for the price. I love my comforter but you absolutely cannot use it in the summertime. It’s perfect for the winter.
